Homeland –
My lifelong dream has been to live in a land called home land. They said: God’s world is spacious, and has ample space for strangers, and they may have a dwelling there. My ribs replied, trembling from humiliation and weakness:” A delusion! Never have I experienced warmth since leaving my homeland.”
-Mahmoud al-Najjar(1958)
ಸಿಲುಕಿ ನಾ ಸತ್ತಾಗ;

A Will:
My son, when I die at last, draped in sorrow and many defeats; when my back appears shattered and my heart broken; when my pitiful self vanishes from life, when the earth consumes my corpseand my features vanish after a bitter end, someday come and scatterroses for my souland utter a brief phrase: Jerusalem is captive no more.
